Sthayee Nrutya
"Sthayee Nrutya" is something special in the GURU SHRI DEDA PRASAD DAS style of Odissi Dance.One may be aware that three styles are in practice in the Odissi Dance form and are named after the three famous Gurus:Guru Shri Pankaj Charan Das,Guru Shri Deba Prasad Das,Guru Shri Kelu Charan Mohapatra.Guru Shri Ranabir was a student of Guru Shri Deba Prasad das and naturally he follows his Guru's style.The "Sthayee Nrutya" form was employed by the "Maharis", the Devedasis of the Puri Temple as well as in the "Gotipua" tradition of dances.It was being referred as the "Thei Ghara Dance" because the term "Thei" is repeated throughout the item."Sthayee Nrutta" is a pure dance form in the category of "Nrutta".It is not accompanied by song or recitation,but a refain of rhythmic syllables is provided throughout.Usually,these syllable are the "Sthayee Ukutas" of "Samatalas" are also used.Following the syllables and the "Talas",the dancer begins with a series of sculptures poses lavishly seen in the temples of Lord Jagannath at Puri,Lord Shiva at Bhubaneswar, and the Sun Temple at Konark.As the dance progresses,the dancer weaves out different intricate foot work with distinct and charming poses.This pure danceitem coming just after the invocatory "Mangalacharan" builds up the necessary Tempo to take the viewers into a different world which the dancer is aiming at.
Abhinaya (Bal Gopal Astaka)
In this item the students describe the childish activities of Lord Krishna through the Abhinaya aspect of dance.In the absence of Mother Yasoda,young Krishna goes with his friends to steal the "Lavani" and is captured by the Gopies.
This item seeks to explain the spiritual presence of Lord Krishna through instances of Lavani Chori and Giri Govardhan".It is being presented to you by the students of Patitapawan Kala Niketan.
Das Avatar (ten Incarnations Of Lord Vishnu)
The number is based on the hymn couplets by the great Jayadev in praise of the ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu.The dances visually interprets the hymns through appropriate gestures and delineates the ten "avatars" such as Meena(Fish), Kachhpa(Tartoise), Varaha(Bear), Narsimha(The Lion Man), Bamana(Twarf), Parsuram,Shri Rama,Balrama(halder),Buddha and Kalki.

Mokshya
An odissi dance programme ends with an item called "Mokshya" or salvation.LIke "Sthayee" or "Pallavi",this item is also pure dance form,performed without any song or recitation.The dancer with intricate foot work and postures takes the dance into culmination of the programme.
